Terms of use

Your account

You must be an adult able to make a contract to buy a membership. Give accurate details and keep them current. Your login is yours alone: do not share it, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. What happens under your login is your responsibility until you do.

Membership and payment

Membership is billed monthly through Stripe at the price shown when you join. It renews each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the account page; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for and are not charged again. We do not refund part months. Prices can change; if yours does, we tell you before the next charge and you can cancel before it.

If a payment fails, access pauses until it clears. If a price or feature is shown wrongly by mistake, we may correct it and, where you have paid, refund you.

What the app is, and is not

The app gives you Martin's courses, an assistant that answers in his method, a plan for your dog, and a way to reach Martin. It is education for dog owners. It is not veterinary care, and nothing in it is advice about your dog's health. Argos AI is a computer model, not Martin; it says so, and it is built to send anything medical to your vet.

Dogs are individuals and results depend on what you do. We do not guarantee any outcome with any dog. You are responsible for your dog, for your own safety and for other people's and their dogs'. If your dog has bitten or is aggressive, work with a trainer in person, as Martin says in the app, and do not rely on the app for that.

Some lessons cover training tools. Use a tool only as Martin has taught you to, and never on the app's word alone.

Martin's videos and words

Every video, lesson, written note, plan and reply in the app belongs to Argos Dog Training or is licensed to it. Your membership lets you watch and read them for your own dog. It does not let you download, record, copy, share, post, resell or pass on any of it, or share your login so someone else can. If you do, we can end your membership without a refund, and we keep our other rights.

What you send us

Clips, notes, questions and messages you send are yours. By sending them you let us store them, show them to Martin, and use them to answer you and to run the app. We will not put your clip in a course, on a website or on social media without asking you first about that clip, in writing.

Do not send anything that is not yours to send, that shows a person who has not agreed to be filmed, that is abusive, or that breaks the law. We can remove anything that does, and we can close an account that keeps doing it.

Ideas and suggestions you send about the app are welcome and we may use them without owing you anything for them.

Fair use of Argos AI and of Martin's time

Argos AI has a daily message limit and the clips you can send Martin are capped each week. The limits are shown in the app and exist so that every member gets an answer. Do not use the app to run a business, train a model, scrape content, or probe its security.

Availability

We work to keep the app up but do not promise it will always be available or free of faults, and we may change or retire features. If we retire the app altogether we will give you at least thirty days notice and a way to download what you have sent.

Ending an account

You can delete your account from the account page at any time; that cancels the membership and removes your data as the privacy policy describes. We can suspend or end an account for breaking these terms, for a payment that will not clear, or for conduct that harms other members or Martin, and we will say why.

Liability

The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage that comes from using it or from acting on what it says, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not let us limit. You agree to cover us against claims by others that come from your breaking these terms.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. If we have a dispute, we each agree to talk first: write to dogtrainer@argostraining.com and we will try to sort it out within thirty days. If that fails, the courts of Massachusetts decide it. Any claim must be brought within one year of the event it is about.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, we tell you in the app before the change applies and move the date at the top. Continuing to use the app after that date means you accept the new terms. If a court finds one part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us for the app.
